I recently had the pleasure of working with Alexandra Moreau throughout the planning of my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding held in Austin, Texas and it was a wonderful partnership. Having relocated to Austin last spring, my son and daughter-in-law were unfamiliar with Austin wedding venues and service providers so they were very fortunate in finding Alexandra to assist them with their entire wedding planning process. My son and daughter-in-law quickly learned to fully rely on Alex’s expertise to assist in identifying suitable venues and recommend talented service providers who met their specific wedding timeline and budget. They also utilized Alex’s expertise to negotiate competitive rates for all wedding support services and schedule site visits/tastings with caterers – all in keeping with my son and daughter-in-law’s vision for their special day. We quickly learned that Alex had wonderful working relationships with a wide team of area service providers and always represented my son and daughter-in-law clearly and professionally. Alex thoughtfully listened and understood my daughter-in-law’s vision template for the entire event and poured much thought into sourcing very particular vendor options accordingly. Her assessments of their services not only saved precious time and money but also allowed my daughter-in-law to enjoy the planning process. Alex’s recommendations came based on her experience, extensive relationships, and detailed research with my son and daughter-in-law’s wish lists in mind. Although Alex made her personal recommendations and offered advice, she allowed the bride and groom to remain in the driver’s seat when making all key decisions for their wedding with the promise that their wedding would be perfect. Alexandra offered full support and assistance on a broad scale during the planning phase and on-site, but personally remained laser focused on our needs and wishes at all times. She is a great communicator and it was always clear that this was “not just another wedding” but that she was fully vested in my son and daughter-in-law’s “perfect day”. We all valued her well-rounded perspective in ultimately looking out for our best interests with personal attention and she was always available to provide as little or as much support as we needed throughout the entire process. I am a seasoned corporate planner with over 30 years of event experience and I take stock in partnering with the best. When my son and daughter-in-law were fortunate enough to partner with Alexandra Moreau, they truly found a gem. She consistently focused on quality, service and 100% customer satisfaction which she fully delivered with kindness, patience, flexibility, and impeccable attention to detail. There are no words that can ever truly relay how much Alex is a dream weaver. I found Alex by some miracle after I had recently moved to Austin and literally knew no one. I had a feeling I was going to need some help planning our wedding, but never could've dreamed how true that thought was. We ended up hiring Alex for full coordination after some advice from mother in law who is in the event planning industry, and I cannot thank her or Alex enough as I NEVER could've done this without them. Alex basically felt like my immediate bff, and if I didn't know better I would've thought we had known each other forever. She was an integral part of every single decision I made, and she always remained calm, cool and collected, even when I asked her 50 questions a day lol! She brought my very detailed vision to life better than I ever could've dreamt it. She is hands down the best decision we made for the entire wedding. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and exceeded every single one of our expectations because of Alex going above and beyond and being so invested in understanding what we wanted, down to my very particular lighting requests, to vendor selection, to putting out fires behind the scenes without me ever knowing. She is the coolest chic, with amazing ideas and executes them all flawlessly. I can truly say we love her and cannot recommend her enough to anyone getting married, do yourself a favor and hire Alex, I promise you will not regret it.
I always told myself I didn't need a wedding coordinator and that I could easily do it all myself. After realizing the amount of work and details that goes into planning a wedding, let me tell you, I WAS WRONG. I had to move my wedding suddenly due to a family emergency and had only 3 months to plan it all. I probably sent out 30 inquiries to different coordinators in 1 day (a good half of which didn't even respond at all or responded weeks later) I briefly mentioned my story and I believe Alex was the first to write back within 5 minutes and her first words were "I want to help you". Alex went above and beyond with coordinating and never made me feel hesitant about asking for help. Anything I asked her to do she immediately jumped on the task. Alex relieved me of a lot of stress and panic, made sure everything was always up to date, provided me a checklist and held me accountable on completing tasks that required my attention. She sent me payment reminders throughout the process to ensure I never missed a deadline. Provided great advice on all aspects of the wedding and helped me understand things as a "guests" perspective. I had a vision for where and how I wanted every piece of decor set up... I never got the chance to tell her what I wanted but trusted that she would make it look great. Everything looked amazing and she put all of the decor exactly where I would've wanted. Shes got great design taste! Alex just took full charge and I cant begin to express how happy I am that I picked her as my coordinator. Future Brides, you need Alex as your coordinator. I promise you will not regret it. She was truly amazing and just a good hearted person all around.
Look no further! Alex is incredible. She is such a wedding planner/coordinator professional that she puts everyone else to shame! (jk, but really.) She is so smart, direct, and has such a confidence about her that makes you feel so comfortable. She is so detail oriented and know how to review your vendor contracts to make all of the pieces come together. She's easy going and so fun to work out. Without a doubt she was the best investment I made for my wedding!
I can't recommend Alex enough. I'm very Type-A, so I initially thought I wouldn't need a day-of wedding coordinator- I had planned it myself and thought I could handle everything without help. Our venue required us to have one, so I begrudgingly started to research. Enter Alex- the rockstar of my wedding day. She had amazing reviews and was incredibly communicative right from the start. She came in a full two months before the wedding to organize all the vendors and wrap up all the loose ends. Looking back, I literally laugh at the thought of trying to handle all that she took care of- y'all, she's a PRO. From putting out fires (many I'm sure I'm not even aware of), to having safety pins on deck when my bustle broke, to just the sheer relief of being able to answer every question that day with a nod in her direction and a simple- "Alex knows"... every moment was special and stress-free because of her. I can't thank you enough, Alex!
